Alina Brovina (1987, Moscow) graduated from The Russian Theatre Academy as a scenographer and studied at Rodchenko Art School. Her works encompass themes of the body, chemical connections, ecology, and memory. Using a wide array of artistic means, especially sculpture, drawing, and photography, Alina questions what kind of personal, intimate practices can resist the painful and unreflected experiences. Alina participated in V season at Open Studios CCA Winzavod, and in a cross-disciplinary project by PosthumanStudies Lab and The Mendeleev University of Chemical Technology.
